Zuzana Žabková and René Alejandro Huari Mateus aka Weird Sisters with Nik Timková und Vojtěch Hlaváček and Lebenshilfe Frankfurt, by and with all the participants

“Monsterhearts” is a series of public dance and costume workshops, for and by people with and without disabilities, leading up to a Halloween party. Inspired by ancient and current mythologies of monsters, drag and camp culture, the goal is to create a brave space where normativity and virtuosity are rejected, and where people with disabilities and other festival attendees engage in dialogue through the means of performance art. The project responds to the desire of Lebenshilfe to revive a popular Halloween party for people with disabilities, which previously took place at Lebenshilfe and will implant itself during the festival Implantieren ‘24 on the Campus Bockenheim.
